I needed an auto repair warranty because of my track record with my cars. I’ve had 3 of the 4 cars I’ve ever owned break down before they hit 100k miles. After the 1st 2 cars I thought It was just bad luck. I do all my recommended factory maintenance yet my cars breakdown. First it was ball joints and I just could not afford to pay the repair bill so that car went to the scrap yard. Then it was an electrical meltdown that cost me $1300.00, I later sold the car for $500.00. Next it was total transmission failure, the total bill was over 4k so I had the car picked up by a charity.
I got a used 05 Ford Escape with 78k miles. I needed the best car warranty that their was on this planet. With All the bad publicity Extended Auto Warranties get I thought I’d write about a good experience. After 4 cars of bad luck I had electrical and A/C issue’s and The Car Service Contract I purchased off US Direct Protect paid for 90% of the repair bills, labor ,towing,fluids. I was very impressed.
