Triumph – A Quality Product

There are  several motorcycles to choose from when considering getting into the market, why not buy from a world class company like Triumph. This company has been around since the motorcycle was invented and has helped establish what riders want in a bike. The United Kingdom bike company has faced many challenges through the years and has not stopped their desire to build a better bike and listened to what their customers wanted.

Since Triumph made its debut in 1902 with its first production of a motorcycle they have been dedicated to building a quality product. While World War I helped the motorcycle company put its name in the market, it also helped to let everyone know they were not just making cars as well. After World War II ended the company received a second boost in sales as they began importing to the United States. Many Americans want to ride motorcycles and quickly feel in love with the Tiger and Bonneville models that were being produced. During this time they also produced a twin engine for their bikes.

Triumph began to loose their share of the motorcycle market in the 1960′s. Japan quickly began to produce more motorcycles at a much less expensive price and this was very appealing to the American market. With this downturn they began to build bigger and faster engines for their bikes and stayed competitive. Triumph still produced the classic looking road cruiser they were known for and took a chance on a different engine, the rotary engine which did not fare well in the motorcycle or car industry.

Many people have the desire to ride a Triumph since they are know for producing quality bikes with years of experience. Their motorcycles have been in several movies which has produced a positive image to the public. Many people ride a Triumph for the image of a bad boy that the movies portrayed in the sixties. Through the years the bike company has also produced sport bikes as well to keep up with the current demand for speed and dependability. Since the company has under gone new ownership, look for Triumph to regain their proper place in the motorcycle market.
