Triumph motorcycles made something of a hybrid with the Street Triple, combining the best of the 675 engine with the Speed Triple stable mate. It’s a good move, since the Street Triple proves its worth both in terms of design and performance. It’s both exhilarating to ride yet utterly trustworthy, thanks to the expert engineering pedigree that Triumph bring to every bike they make. The power of the engine is surprising for its size, but at the same time riding this bike doesn’t feel like it’s the last thing you’ll ever do alive. The Street Triple is a great effort from Triumph.
Having won numerous accolades, Triumph motorcycles hit the jackpot with the Daytona sports bike. Named as Sport Bike of the Year by Motorcycle News, the Daytona has certainly proved its place in the sport bike category and continues to go from strength to strength both here and abroad. Many riders are drawn to the Daytona’s three cylinder engine, which makes one of the best motorcycle sounds I’ve ever heard. There’s something here for all sport bike enthusiasts, the Daytona is simply one of the best you’ll ever get. Evolving all the time, the latest Daytona is competing at world class levels.
Triumph motorcycles made the Bonneville so I have to say I owe Triumph a lot. Learning to ride I always fantasised about owning a Bonneville, rocking up to my mates’ houses, the coolest thing on two wheels. It was a while before I got there but it was no less of a thrill than I’d imagined riding the Bonneville for the first time. I love sitting on the bike and just looking down at it, it’s such a great design, it’s so very me. I go for anything retro, I think I was probably born in the wrong era. I’m pleased Triumph keeps that spirit alive.
