The used Jaguar S-type I drive is pretty much exactly as I hoped it would be. For me to enjoy it, a car has to meet three criteria. It must drive well, look good and be practical enough to meet my growing family’s needs.
On point one the S-type really excels, but that’s where Jaguar have always really known what they’re doing. The car is really good to drive and it’s a really easy car to be in, too. With everything at your fingertips and little manual stuff to take care of yourself, the S-type is great fun. It’s a pretty powerful car but that power is nicely balanced with great comfort levels and a fabulously smooth ride. The S-type drives like it’s on air, I love it.
Secondly, let’s take a look at the S-type’s design. As you might expect, Jaguar has put an awful lot of thought into the styling of the S-type. It’s a classic Used Jaguar look and feel – this is old school Jag at its finest. The exterior design arguably might appeal to the more mature Jaguar owner, but the interior is simply gorgeous, whoever you are. That walnut dash and those cool controls remind you, every time you look at them, that you’re in a seriously nice car.
So onto practicality. The S-type’s boot is big enough to stow the average family’s luggage. I’m really pleased with its capacity because I think it’s bigger than you’d imagine. The S-type manages to bring together great looks, usability and that excellent performance you want from a Used Jaguar. I’d say that if you prefer a Jag with a more classic look, take a glance at the S-type and arrange a test drive. This is a car you won’t forget in a hurry, and it’s well worth a reasonable used price.
