Used Mercedes Benz AMG Engines

I am a massive fan of the Mercedes Benz brand. Sure, their cars may be very expensive, but generally I feel that this is because the really deliver in terms of performance, speed and sleek good looks. Even better, a good quality Merc can, if looked after properly by its dedicated and caring owner, outlast its market competitors by a good long stretch. They can survive for years and years, and I am always seeing them up for sale with hundreds of thousands of miles on the clock, yet still driving surprisingly well. This makes them a true investment piece, and goes some of the way to explaining the popularity of used Mercedes Benz dealership throughout the UK.

Of all the many Mercedes Benz models I have seen, there have been a handful that have stood out head and shoulders above the rest. All of them have been lovely, don’t get me wrong, but some of them have been more lovely than others. Unsurprisingly, the ones that stood out were the more expensive models with the flashy purring engines, rather than the expensive but more everyday saloons and estates. In particular the AMG models always catch my eye, with all the chrome accessories, and my ear with the sounds of their excessively huge and beautiful engines.

The AMG Mercedes’ are essentially road worth cars that feature the stunning racing standard AMG engines. They are so far from a normal dull car that it is hard to believe they are even the same mode of transport. Even though the basic design is the same they seem to carry with them an aura of power and barely tamed aggression, which is one of the features of the Used Mercedes Benz brand that I really like anyway. Just add the larger exhaust and the sound that roars from under the bonnet, and I can guarantee that I will go weak at the knees, and possible pass out!

The CLS is probably one of my favourite AMGs, in part because it was one of the first that I ever encountered in real life. It is, as with all CLS models, a totally over the top piece of equipment, with curved sides, huge twin exhausts and an interior that is without a doubt posher than my house. The AMG engine itself is a 6.2 litre V8 goliath, huge and aggressive and able to purr more than almost any car I know. The acceleration, 0 – 62 in 4.5 seconds, just adds to the auditory and visual excitement, making it a exhilarating and hair raising ride.

There are plenty more facts and figures about the Used Mercedes Benz AMG CLS that I could throw at you, but to be honest that don’t mean anything until you see and hear one for yourself. Of, if you are lucky, until you actually get to ride one or even own one. Then you will no doubt be as sold on the AMG concept as I am, from the unspeakable luxury to the thoroughbred racing blood that is running through the beast’s veins.
