Cell Phones – How Did We Get By Without Them

Here I am pondering the current topic at hand – cell phones. Every body has one. I once had a friend that would pay his cell bill before he would pay his power bill. I can recall a time when I was without a cell or home phone.

Was interesting to get in touch with me you had to come to my home. It was actually somewhat of a relief to know I would not be bothered while I was at home by a ringing phone. But the times in needed to get in touch with someone it was quite inconvenient.

But I think both are quite possible have the cell is definitely good but not as necessary as we think. But I side with having one I think it’s a safe thing to do. I love cell phones. I recently got one that needed to be unlocked.

Luckily I had a good friend that showed me how to unlock a cell phone so that I could use it on my current network I had a contract with. For those of you who are not familiar with the term unlocked cell. You may be thinking about a phone with a lock on it.

But that’s not it at all. A cell phone can pretty much be used with any cell provider. But almost all phone come locked in and will only work on one network normally the network provider you purchased the phone on. This is a popular process with the Iphone.

The How To’s Of The Internet. Mostly Asked By My Annoying Friends.

I am the type of person that most of my friends asks when they need something to know about the internet. Do not get me wrong, I do not spend half or God forbid, all of my precious time on the net. I find it ironic because most of the people asking me really do spend much of their time on the net like twitter or facebook compared to me, although I have a twitter and facebook account, I did find it amusing at first but then, I was like, this is stupid. I always leave my IM on-line at work because that is where I talk to my family abroad, but most of the people that I talk to on my messenger are my friends. Anyway, here are some of the stupidest questions I get from them. “how do i verify my facebook account?” Seriously. People are so lazy these days they can not even read the rules on facebook. Next was, “My youtube does not work help?” Here was my response, “Try downloading the latest version of the flash player, or just simply refresh your page. It might help.” He answered me back, why don’t you get here, let’s have some dinner and fix it. Really? I just thought that guy was just hitting on me. I didn’t answered back. Another thing was downloading. “How do I dl facebook videos?” Most of my friends are asking me how to pirate songs from youtube or facebook. People nowadays are lazy and a thief. Why ask me? Why don’t they just google it or something. Having this kind of a reputation sucks sometimes, but at least my friends find a way to annoy and entertain me at the same time.

Guide to Dummies: How to fully use your Blackberry

Blackberry recently release their new batch of phone models for the Asian Market. These new batch of phones will not only be more sleek and sophisticated but are more user friendly and cheaper compared with other Blackberry already out in the market. As guide to dummies reviewed the phone models last week, a lot of people are asking questions and we are here to help you get the most of your Blackberry. One forum member asked the question “how can i block a phone number using my Blackberry Storm? “ The answer is simple, as we reviewed last week, Blackberry customers can block phone numbers as if they are just using any other phone brands. They will have to go to tools – settings – contacts – block phone number – type in phone number and viola! The annoying caller will no longer be able to bother you. Another question we wanted to address is one by Mushashi and the question is “can i sync my blackberry with outlook?” The answer is yes. All you have to do is follow these simple steps. First off, – Connect your phone to your desktop manager. Once connected, a pop up error message will appear stating that the computer has not detected any application for synchronization if you have not yet set up data for synchronization. After, go to the configuration tab and click synchronization. Then highlight Outlook and select next. On the next screen, you will be ask to choose one or two way of synchronization, the one I tried is the two way since this is so far the safer of the two as it sync both your device and Outlook. Choose your profile or make a new one if you haven’t setup your Outlook profile. Click next and then finish. A new window will open up saying that you have already sync your phone. So that’s it. Next week we will be discussing how to make a new folder in your Blackberry’s E: // drive.
